Apple Watch messages app not showing contacts

I just noticed today that my Apple Watch is showing only phone numbers in the messages app; not contact names. This started today.

I've tried power cycling the watch and my iPhone. Contacts are showing up properly on the iPhone and also my iPad.

Any ideas?

Ok, it's working now. Not sure what happened there

Mine did it a while back and the only thought I had was that iCloud wasn't syncing properly which is where I keep my contacts.

Quick reboot of AW and iPhone and all back to normal

Rebooting the watch and phone is the best cure for anything unusual that's happening.
