Any Watch Apps Count Toward Move / Activty Rings?

Does anyone know if there are any apps that can count toward the activity rings on the watch? I'm curious to know as the default workout app on the watch is pretty limited.

Does an API exist for this?

Great question. I'd love to know the same thing. There isn't one that I'm aware of right now.

Any app that syncs with your Health app on your iPhone should, in theory, count toward your goals and flow into Apple Watch. If you open App Store, then go to Categories > Health & Fitness, and select Apps for Health, you'll see all of the apps that sync using HealthKit.
