Does the Apple Watch Sport 7000 series work in China

I noticed you can purchase the Apple Watch in other countries but I did not see China listed. Are there network restrictions or no network support in China. Is there any other reason why someone in China could not or should not get the watch and expect it to work.

Welcome to iMore! I haven't heard of any issues with Apple Watch in China. I was able to pull up China's Apple Watch page and it's linked below. I have no idea what it says but it's obvious that Apple is at least advertising it in China.
