I don't know, but resetting it and then pairing it to your iPhone should solve the problem.

I'm having the same trouble the day after I've use the exercise app. I extremely tried everything it fixes it (reboot and re-pairing with and without the backup) but problem comes back after une session with the exercise app. Does 2.3 fix this?

Reboot the watch by holding both buttons down for 10 seconds.

If that doesn't help, pair and repair the watch.

Have you installed a beta OS? When I went to 9.3 beta ans watchOS2.2 I had unpair then re-pair watch, battery life is back to normal, in any case trying re-pairing should help. A pain I know but such is the nature of these beasts

I had a similar issue for a few days. After I changed watch faces to the motion pictures my battery life tanked. After switching back to modular I had no problems.
