how to get the apple watch to sync with the fitbit

so I have an apple watch and want to challenge my friends in the step game. anyhow read that you can get sync solver so I got that and everything will sync except the steps how do I fix this?

Hi there,
I see those apps have several versions, which did you get (what color icon is probably easiest way to tell!). Looks like they allow steps to sync, did you check settings?

I have read, but don't know if it's true, that Fitbit won't count sync'd data towards challenges. I'd be curious if it works though; keep us posted
