Personally the 38mm was too small for me so I had to go with the 42mm. In the watch world small is definitely whats in now. The bulky sized watch companies (panerai or breitling) are moving towards making smaller sized watches. But the truth is 42mm is still considered pretty small so its most probably the right choice from a fashion aspect too.

Went with the 42... I am a big guy and the 38 seemed tiny, perfect for my wife and kids. Plus my 50 year old eyes need all the help that it can get

I went with the 42mm, I really like the way it looks on my arm, the size is perfect. I think the 38mm would have been to small for me.

I don't have mine yet, but when I went to try them on, the 42 looked way too big on my wrist. They are pretty small, so the 38 looked perfect.

I picked up the 42 mm this week when visiting London. Its just about right but personally I could go with 52mm for more battery and perheps sensors for blood oxygen level and UV level.
