I paid the discounted Target price for the same combo, and don't regret it a bit. Don't know if you upgraded to wOS 3.0 yet but it's very worthwhile.

Thanks. Yes did the update to 3.0. Works very good. Just ordered a Milanese Magnetic Loop Stainless Steel Strap from ebay, in blue

I was waiting for my JETech Millanese Loop band to arrive before posting a pic, but here it is. For a $20 CAD band, it's very comfortable and makes my Space Grey Apple Watch look even better.

Couldn't justify paying the $200 + just for a watch band.

Series 2 is the line that is water resistant up to 50m, has GPS embedded in it and a brighter screen. I believe released the same day as the iPhone 7.

Just got my 42mm Gold Aluminum Watch with Cocoa Sport band. This is also one of my favorite generic Watch faces. It looks great in blue, too.

PS: while at work (I'm guessing you're using a computer at a desk), does the bottom of the bracelet seem to scratch on the desk?
This is the reason for my hesitation in getting a linked bracelet...
