My budget wasn't big either the last few months, but I decided to go second hand. Bought mine for $225, used by a young lady who owned it for 4 months and didn't use it a lot.
I'm so glad I bought it.

    Ohhh, wish I had a K.I.T.T! Heck, I'd even take K.A.R.R!

I wonder where the best place to buy one 2nd hand would be that is trustworthy? I do hope to eventually get one though. Ty!

You can always check out Swappa. Every now and then they get listed here in the marketplace.

Trustworthy is indeed one of the biggest issues of online buying.
That's why I chose to search for an Watch in my city.
After agreeing on the price she gave me her address and we exchanged the money and the watch. I told her I wanted to set it up right away and she agreed to wait with me at the door.
As I was setting up it asked for her password, because she didn't perform a full reset beforehand. She put in her password and I set it up as new while she was waiting.
Only after successfully doing this I left the place.
I recommend you to do this as well to avoid any unpleasant surprises .

Do you both have a Stainless Steel version, or?

I bought a box of faceplates for my watch and love the ability to change out the colors with what I am wearing but that case is beautiful http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...6ac2686e74.png
Right. I wanted it because I wear my watch 24/7 unless it's charging, and if I'm doing cleaning or wash I don't want it to get banged up if I bump my wrist off of a cabinet or tiled edge etc. here's a couple of more detailed pics of the case. I'll post the eBay link for you as well.

No, mine is not stainless steel. It's all plastic. There were case options for the stainless steel but I had concerns of putting on or taking off the case from the watch that it would scratch it.

Just bought this Woven Nylon from the  Store http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...c53ea2dc9b.jpg
How is the nylon band? Is it worth the Apple tax? I've had my eye on it sine they announced them.

I went to buy a stainless steel band but 169 is too much for me to spend on a watch I paid 225 for.

As I wanted a genuine Apple band I went with this one for 59.
Since I don't have any experience with knock offs I can't answer your question truly, but I have to say this one is more comfortable than the stock band.

I like the Midnight Blue Sport band but wanted to try the Black Woven Nylon band. Didn't see the gold threads until it was in bright light! It gives it a more formal look. I like!

A black Woven band with little or no highlights would be a nice contrast for the Gold Sport. Less formal than the current Woven band, and a little more stylish than a Black Sport band. I tried. It was- ok, not as nice as the MBS that came with it.

I have the Black Woven Nylon and it worth the money to me! Sure, if it were less expensive that'd be great. But I've yet to see less expensive that wasn't cheap. The Pearl is the only other color of Woven that interests me and want to see it at a store. There was a report somewhere that it discolored on the inside after a short time. Hope that's not the case for every body.

There are still a couple maybe three more bands I want. But Apple discontinues some bands as they announce others. So getting what you want sooner is better than too late. FYI.

I had a Spigen silicon case on my Stainless for one week. It wasn't removed but once, at the end of the week. There were tiny scratches on all sides of the Watch, slightly dulling the highly polished, bright finish of the Watch.

Unless your environment is really tough on watches, I'd say use a case with caution. The Sport Watches might fare better with cases. I'll try to polish it and see if it helps.

Thank you for the info!! Omg I'd be crying if that happens to my watch...I'll keep an eye on it.

I know this may sound crazy, but maybe an extremely small amount of polishing compound using a q-tip might take the dulling out.
