So i know it is mainly covered in circles, but will apple allow wallpapers on the apple watch? If this has been mentioned I apologize, it just came across my mind today.
After watching this - https://forums.imore.com/e?link=htt...4%26subId2%3Dvbim%23film-faces&token=RcKihTUf - my guess is there is no wallpaper...
I'm not sure wallpaper would interest me with this small of a screen. (Screen is smaller than I thought - 42mm.)
Yeah, now I wish my eyes were better. :concern:
Apple's choice of a black background has a couple benefits. First, the OLED screen pixels are black when off, so consume less battery juice. Secondly, a black background increases contrast with the lit pixels, making reading small text easier.
Oh, and thirdly, you can't see the black bezel transition, making the screen seem a bit larger.
Probably like with the first few iPhones how they didn't let you change wall paperMy guess is not till a future generation with better battery life?

I haven't felt the need for wallpaper...but I can wait until we start seeing more faces.
