    Default Milanese Band

I've asked this question a few times, but haven't really gotten a response. Does anyone have any info on the Milanese band? I'm wanting to get the 42" Milanese Apple watch, but I don't know much about this band. Reliable? I'm in the maintenance field and curious to see if it'll hold up while I'm working.

    Thanks!

Try looking for reviews of milanese bands from other watches. I did that, and they seem to be pretty durable, and comfortable

Yeah, I did that, but couldn't find too much about them....especially when it comes to durability.

It would be hard to say- all manufacturers are different anyway. It would have to be a wait and see approach. Personally I would think the sport band would hold up best in that environment

I totally agree, but two things are stopping me from getting the sport....

    1. I want the sapphire face.

    2. I absolutely despise that band.

    Lol

You can get the sapphire face and add a sport band for work.
You think you despise it but maybe you won't

I've read that it's stainless steel, strong, light, and breathable. It's the one that I plan to purchase.

Hmmmm. The only reason I say I despise it is because it looks the the band for the Fitbit. My wife has one and I don't like it at all.

That sounds pretty good to me. The only thing that remotely worries me is the magnetic "clasp."

American stainless or Japanese Stainless? That matters because American Stainless tends to have nickel in it, and Japanese does not. It makes a huge difference in skin sensitivity.

Even if you despise it the bands are interchangable. So you could get a sport band strictly for work and then have the Milanese for every other time?

True, but I just don't like that band. Idk. Think I'll just roll the dice with the Milanese 24/7.
