I don't have a 2nd generation Watch, but I do have the original. Anyway, I showered with it once when I first got it and the soap and water did not harm it at all.

I haven't showered with it, but I wouldn't have any qualms about doing so. It's waterproof and a little soap won't hurt.

I also did once with my original AW, no problem at all. The AW2 should be even more no problem.

In the 8 months that I have had my first gen Watch I have showered briefly with my Watch still on my wrist.
It doesn't do any harm and it cleans the watch.
But be aware, Apple doesn't recommend it, so if you ever want to shower with a first gen Watch, do so at your own risk.

Interesting. I have several watches including a divers watch and I have never showered in any of my watches over the years. That's pretty much the only time I'm completely naked....well maybe not the only time...LOL.

I shower, take baths and swim with my AW2 on and it's fine - it's supposed to be able to do it and it can.

I always showered with my first gen watch. Didn't swim or do anything crazy though. With the second gen watch, I don't even think about it. Whether swimming or showering. Never an issue.

I expect it'd be ok to do it but I never shower with any watches.
