What is Apple Standard Shipping?

My AW2 is still in processing mode...Best Buy in my area claims I can get one Saturday (but not with the same band)...Apple says Oct 25-Nov 1st for my order by Standard Shipping

What is Standard Shipping time frame?

I find Apple builds in a safety margin when giving a shipping date. Standard shipping is usually FedEx. A signature is required.

I've found their shipping estimates to be on the safe side as well. Usually receive the package earlier than expected.
