Default Sport Band or Woven Nylon Band?

    Hey all,

I am finally pulling the trigger on a watch. I am going with the 42mm Sport....Space Grey.

What band is better? The regular sport band or the Black Woven Nylon band?

    Thanks

I personally like the black nylon band the best.

I have both and love both. It's purely a matter of personal preference.

They're both super comfortable. Maybe get one of each in different colors?

The Black Sport is nice looking and utilitarian. It came with the Watch when there was no Nylon option. It wears and cleans up well. It's really good for the gym and yard work.

The Black Nylon is much nicer looking, lighter, and possibly a little cooler in warm weather. Or it's just my imagination- I'm not really sure.

I like the Nylon better as it looks good/better in both casual and more formal dress. I don't know how well it will wear if used as a daily driver (which the Sport excels at) over the Long Haul. I'll probably get a spare BN, just in case.

By now you must have got a Watch. What band did you go with?

I ended up going with the Black Woven Nylon....I like it but looking at some third party bands now....Apple wants crazy money for theirs.

Nice! They are pricey but I think the Nylon bands are probably worth it, depending on how long they hold up. I'd expect third-party versions may not do as well.

I got three silicon bands that are ok. They have a molding seam the Apple bands don't have, and the closure pin isn't as nice. So if they wear ok over the long run and I keep the low price in mind, then I'm ok with them.

There may be cheaper bands around but Apple's fit and finish is exquisite, something that can't be said for most third-party offerings.
