Does anyone know if it's possible to pair a gps device to the apple watch excluding the IPhone? Like a fitness band of some sort that has gps? I really like going running and cycling, but I'd like to leave my phone at home and maybe take something lighter that can rest on other wrist wile the apple watch syncs the workout and plays music with Bluetooth. Thank you very much!

Re: Gps and Apple Watch

To my knowledge, the Watch can't make use of external GPS devices via bluetooth at this time... It may come to pass with Watch OS2 and apps running natively on the watch.

Re: Gps and Apple Watch

Thanks for the info! May I also ask if anyone knows if maybe there is a gps fitness band that syncs with both the apple health and activity app? I'd really like to have all my activity info in one place. This way I could use the other band wile running bug keep the info also on apple watch and iphone :)
