No, I would not use a third-party charger for my Apple Watch. I stick with Apple chargers on all my devices, but particularly on the watch.

Any cost savings would not be worth the risk, IMO.

Even the lightening cables I use are not OEM. Generic stuff works great if you find a decent manufacture.

It doesn't have to be made by Apple, but I would never use anything that was not MFi certified. My device, my money, my choice. YMMV.

I always use Apple chargers for everything. I do use non Apple MFi Certified cables.

I'll stick with the Apple charger for the Watch. Saving a few bucks ain't worth the drama of damage.
