No. If your phone is locked the notification will only go to your watch. It doesn't work like the Pebble.
    Thanks

One of the best features of the Apple Watch!!! That made me crazy with every other smart watch I have had. I am holding my phone using it and can see the notification... no need to buzz my wrist so I have to clear the notice in two places

Mine is due to arrive 06/16 to 06/18. So in the locked scenario, you have to clear the notification on you're phone and watch?

Nope... just your watch. And in the unlocked scenario just on your phone

Seems like a bit of a learning curve with the watch

There are two options in the watch settings for notifications and they can be set independently for each app. The options are "mirror my phone" and "custom". In the custom setting you can turn sound and haptic off or on and show/hide alerts.

Am I right or wrong on this ?

The MiTagg NuDock Power Station Lamp is hands down the best looking of the docks, in my opinion, especially since you can get it in space gray. It is a little pricey, but it is an all in one solution. Still debating on whether I want to back it or not. What are some other options that you guys are finding out there?
I'm not a big fan of the lamp. I just don't think it is practical and that I would ever use it. I prefer the look of the Premium 1, myself - much more compact, looks nice, and also charges the iPhone as well as the watch.

I'm not likely to carry a stand when I'm traveling for extended periods of time. Need a simpler solution. Plus, I prefer to have my iPhone on an extended USB cord so I can use it in bed in the morning without running the battery down for the day.

I wonder if an easy retrofit can be fashioned from an old watch box, that one that have the felt circular ring inside to display the watch. ??

    It's looks simpler. Could work.

For traveling perhaps just a piece of felt or foam with the watch on its side, clasp closed it good enough. Even for home.

I worry that some of these tall stands will be knocked off during the night.

The Elevation stands are nice, but for travel I am going to use the coffin the watch came in modified to fit the charge puck. That way the watch is protected in my bag if I need to remove it, and if I plug it in to a battery pack it can charge in my bag as a bonus

It is available on Griffin's site for $29.99 and says it will ship in 1-2 weeks but, I was able to find it on Amazon for the same price without shipping costs and I will be receiving it tomorrow.

I just finished doing a video review of most of the stands out there. I'll post it once I'm finished editing the videos.

I'll probably sell them once finished if anyone is interested. http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/z...psxfc78npv.jpg

    Two of my favorite stands!

Made this bedside charging box from a $8 watch box purchased on Amazon. Lots to choose from.

Didn't want to spend $30 and up for a metal, tall, maybe tippy stand I'd knock over with my arms and scratch the watch case. Plus needed something for travel. Thought about using the sport watch coffin, but didn't want to destroy that yet.

I sleep on a pillow, so why not my watch? The included pillow can be purchased separately for a dollar or two, but this baby came complete and I wanted the whole box. I had to take some stuffing out of the pillow to flatten it. ( it has an opening in the back). Takes no time to install. Really didn't need to notch the cardboard.

Works. For extra safety, when I swing my arms about, I can place the top cover case on, and the watch is fully protected, even falling to the floor. Even for travel.

What do you think? It's a start. The other 'professional' stands are expensive and not well thought out, imho.

Where are the cords on this? Is there a lightening connector for the phone, or just the watch cord?

Looks like a mock up since neither device is indicating a charge.

    Looks like we got scammed
Have already filed a complaint with PayPal
I actually preordered the stand back on 04/11 and was told back in 06/04 it had shipped. Well it's been two weeks and NOTHING
got a bunch of email from Chloe claiming it did ship but I do t believe it anymore. Do a google search and there are others also complaining about not receiving their stand orders and were provided bogus tracking numbers

I just got this stand that holds my watch and phone, I'm really happy with it. It's sturdy and it doesn't take up much space. It's helped alleviate clutter on my night stand.

    It's on Amazon, ASIN: B00W9VR830
