Watching live TV - what app?

Just wondering if anyone here has experience in running either InstaTV or Channels to watch live TV on AppleTV (using a HD HomeRun as the OTA source).

I was surprised to see a price reduction on my Apple TV 64GB 4th generation when I went to the Apple store to purchase yesterday, basically $50 off (the staff were also surprised).

I have to put a big vote forward for Channels as the best live TV streaming app (working with my HD HomeRun Connect). Yes it is $38 (in Australian $$$$'s), but well worth it.

Lots of great info in Lory's latest series of articles as I try to cut the cord. Q: If I already have Hulu for Apple TV, how does upgrading to this Live version compare to simply buying the Channels for AppleTV (now $14.99) app that were recommended in other articles? BTW, the DirecTV Now app does not live stream the big 4- it has ZERO CBS offering, and on demand only for the others.
