AV Receiver CEC

My Setup:

Apple TV 32gb
Samsung UHD 55"
Yamaha AV Receiver (RX-V379)

I have been able to get the CEC functionality to work great between my Samsung and the Apple TV. When I put the Apple TV to sleep, the Samsung turns off as expected and back on when I wake up the TV. Additionally, I've also been able to add the volume up/down from the AV receiver to my Apple TV Remote. What I haven't been able to do yet is to get my AV receiver to turn off/on through CEC.

Any thoughts how I might be able to get this to work?

I can't help, but I have a very similar set up with a Samsung 55", Yamaha receiver and the same Apple TV. When I put mine to sleep the tv turns off, but the Yamaha receiver turns off and then immediately back on. Not sure how to correct it.

How did you get your Apple TV remote to pair with your Yamaha remote? I've been looking online for solutions and can't find any. Thanks!
