Why won't my Apple TV accept my security code?

My Apple TV will not accept my security code

Can't rent movies on Apple TV as it won't accept card & says my security code is incorrect.

It tells me to go to iTunes on my computer and verify...I do not have computer only iPhone 5S & iPad 2.
