Did your Apple TV 4 remote have some power when you unboxed?

Just got home from picking up the new version and remote does not appear to have ANY power. Got it plugged for a few minutes to see if I can get anything to work....

Mine was almost full honestly have used it for a week and haven't charged it yet

My remote came fully charged according to Bluetooth menu in the Settings app.

Either the remote or the receiver was bad. Couldn't even do the initial set up, so back to the store and got another one. This one working fine!
