There is nothing "unprofessional" about Handbrake. In fact, it's better than most other paid apps.

I like Handbrake. Has a tons of features and works great. But I find it to be very slow.

Whenever I am converting a large # of files i use Any Video Convertor Ultimate.

Seems to be quicker at converting multiple files

I find handbrake to be pretty quick. It efficiently uses all 8 cores if they are available.
