Plex for Apple TV.

I did some looking around and saw somewhere that plex is available for the Apple TV can someone confirm this for me. I don't have one yet and I am looking at different options.

I’ve see references to it, but it required a jailbreak on the AppleTV... currently only the AppleTV 2 can be JB. There has been no word on the jailbreak for ATV 3 yet. And the only place to get ATV 2 is from the used market...

What's a plex? I just got the Apple TV and its cool but it needs more things to do with like face time and more sync with the phone so when u play with the phone screen, u see it on ur TV. Does anyone know where I can go to learn how to use it better and smarter. Thanks

Plex is an alternate media sever/interface for a jail broken ATV.

Depending on your iPhone model you can show the phones screen on the ATV. Just use airplay.

It's a media server application that you can run on a Mac or pc and stream media to a supported streaming device (roku) being one if them. You can also stream the media to your iPhone it iPad over the net.
