The iOS Remote app & aTV

Have you avoided using the search capabilities on the aTV because using the remote control was a pain in the butt to enter text with? Me too... until now: With the iOS Remote app - one can use that to navigate in the aTV's menus, etc - and when you get to a screen that requires text, the iOS App gives you a keyboard to enter the text... I learned something new today

It's even better with the iPad's larger screen if you have an iPad. Although, I tend to use the iPhone more probably because I can do it one handed. It drove me nuts when I misspelled a word and have to scroll down to delete a letter using Apple's remote.

Yes... I've been using the remote app for years now... the latest version is fantastic...

I got my first Apple TV a few weeks ago, and then came across the Remote app. Its a great little app and great for entering text.
