What are the top 5 new features you're wishing we get in Apple TV 3? I'm guessing the obvious ones are:

1) 1080p
2) Siri (via iOS device remote app?)
3) Apps of some kind
4) Bluetooth 4.0 for better remote and other peripherals?
5) What else?

Ability to play .iso files from a usb hard drive.

I have all my movies encoded on external hard drives in iso format. The only thing keeping me from getting an Apple TV is that I can play them like I can with my Seagate Media Extender.

1. Apps
2. Completely overhauled UI
3. Less hockey puck-like appearance
4. A better native remote app on the iPhone/iPad

That pretty much sums it up, maybe HD Audio but I honestly don't care.

Not going to happen. Either join the Apple world and get that ish in iTunes or go without.

1) 1080p
2) Ability to customize channels (like on the Roku) specifically Amazon Prime!
3) Bluetooth remote (so there's no need for line-of-sight like with the IR remote!)

How about as well as beefed up hardware they open it up to the AppStore and really push it as a gaming system. While unable to compete with the Xbox/ps3 on a technical level they could sell millions upon millions of games with the low price point. Maybe that's why the onlive app still isn't available? Control could be touch screen via an iPad/pod/phone or a separately released joypad. Sounds crazy but could be huge.
