    Default 3D movies

If I have a 3D movies ripped from a bluray, and I convert it into an iTunes format, can it play on Apple TV (in 3D)? The 3D tv I have a is a Samsung PN50C8000.

I dont believe the AppleTV supports stereoscopic 3d movie playback, even on TVs that support 3D movies.

HOWEVER, if your are able to rip the 3D movie and fine a coverter than will take the left/right images and compose a red/blue anaglyph video, you should be able to watch the movie on any hdtv in 3d. You would, however, NEED to use red/blue glasses (and not the glasses your 3d tv supports, such as passive or active shutter). This video would not be properly viewable without glasses.
