I'll be watching a show on Netflix through the ATV and then at random the sound goes out, It has nothing to do with my connection nor the chords, I have no idea why this is happening though and it's starting to more frequently. Does anyone else have this problem and have a solution?

What OS is your Apple TV 2 on? Pretty sure audio bugs were corrected in an update or two back so if you're not updated as of yet, that may be one reason as to why you're experiencing the issues you are.

I had the same problem. Update and reset did the trick for me.

I had thisroblem post-update.

I either restarted Apple tv (2) or unplugged it and then plugged the power cord back in. I think it was the former.

It worked for me.
