In iOS9 you could view your music by genre, and force all songs to be downloaded that way. Then you only had to tell it to download 8-10 times, instead of for each individual song.

But I can't quite seem to find that same functionality in iOS10? Anyone know how to do that?

I think the "Automatic Downloads" option in Settings iOS10 for new music you add going forward, it's not retroactive?

Thanks,
Chris

Via the Music app on your iOS device running IOS 10 beta, select "Library" at the bottom of the screen, and then select "Edit" at the top of the screen. Afterwards, select "Genres" and then select "Done".

That would be great if we could download everything at the same time. I have to download everything manually every time I get a new phone...so annoying.

Make a playlist and add all your music to it. Then wait for the playlist to appear on your iDevice. Then mark that playlist for offline use. All songs will be downloaded on your iDevice.
