Getting "out of room" message

Not sure if I have missed something with the Apple Music intro, but ....

I have not indicated iCloud Music Library on my phone as the corporate network seems to have a problem with it, but I have turned it on with my iPod Touch. It is a 32 GB Touch 5g.

I am getting an out of room message on the iPod. If I check the settings on the iPod itself it tells me there is 320 MB available, but the music library on my MacBook (I set up a new library with no music in it) is clear.

Is this normal?

You can check what is using all the storage space on your iPod:

Go to Settings -> General -> Usage - Manage Storage.

This should give you a list of apps and how much space their files are taking up. Use this list to determine why you are running so low on space.

Turns out the magic is being careful about the number and content of the playlists you have set up in iTunes.
Do some cleaning there and it works out.
