battery life

Curious how much battery life has been effected for everyone. I have noticed a not surprising battery drain while streaming apple music, and a small drain when not using it.

Same for everyone else?

Oh yes it is horrible, I compared it with Spotify and Apple Music drains the battery about 42% more than Spotify. I hope there is an update to fix this soon.

How is it when you're not using the app?

I haven't noticed any difference streaming via Apple Music versus Google Play All Access. My drain when not using the app does seem to be up. I thought it was just my imagination and new app-itis though, so I'll give it a few days to normalize before I make a judgement.

restoring from a back up resolved my battery drain
