Free for 3 months. Then it's subscription. But you don't have to subscribe. Beats 1 radio is free.

Could someone help me? I have the beats music app on my phone. If I sign up for Apple music on my iPad, will I be able to use my Apple music subscription/trial with the beats music app on my phone?

Edit: Just realized I didn't mention it's an Android phone. Duh. OK. Please help, thanks.

Doubt it. Being iCloud, it would require an Apple ID.

^ A shame if true. Would be useful for those of us that use both. Wouldn't you need an Apple ID for the Apple Music service?
