There's been a number of articles circulating about the possibility of dynamic keyboards coming to the MacBook. If properly executed it would solve the issue with having to compromise between a dynamic onscreen keyboard, which I've always disliked and the today's static keyboards on Macs and other laptops. Steve Jobs already in 2007 showed the problem with static physical keyboards on smartphones. The same applies to Laptops and a physical dynamic keyboard would solve this issue. I still miss my BlackBerry Passport for it's great physical keyboard but love the onescreen keyboard for its versatility. Let's have both already!

I'm expecting a touchbar for the iMac first. I'm worried about typing on flats glass keyboard (says the guy typing this on his iPhone). Maybe we will all be used to it, but for me, I don't know how my fingers wouldn't drift while I "touch type" I do agree that the touchbar and the super then keyboard with low travel is the MacBook taking the first steps down that road!
