Why can't my Facebook app connect to the internet on my iPad?

Facebook app cannot connect to internet on ipad.

Facebook app cannot connect to internet on ipad. Error code -994.
Says there is no internet connection. Safari works on the ipad.
We deleted the app and reinstalled it. We psuhed the sleep and wake for 10 s. Tried to log in again but nothing works.

Maybe your connection isn't strong enough. If that's not the issue, you might want to contact FB an find out if it's a known issue with a fix
