How to increase font size in gmail app for iPad , accessibility setting doesn't do it

I recently downloaded the gmail app which has no font size setting. I use an iPad almost exclusively so this is critical. I've tried the accessibility options in Settings, is it possible that gmail is this behind the 8 ball.

I apologize that I don't know...wish I did. I wish you could easily change the font and increase the size. That is an area that Samsung has done well with. I don't even know how it's done with a jailbreak.

Hopefully, some of the gurus will chime in with how to accomplish this.
