Can I get some help with my iPod/phone docks?

I pod/phone docks

Wurlitzer 1015 OMT cd juke box with I pod dock. My I pod plays through system so did older I phone and I pod (30 pin connector) I bought a an adaptor to change this to flash connector. My latest devices show they are charging but won't play tunes through system!

There are some music players/docks that will not play music via this setup. Like you said, "...devices show they are charging but won't play tunes through system!"
