Can I get rid of the notification center icon from my menu bar?

Having the notification center icon is driving me a bit crazy on yosemite now that I've updated my os. Can I get rid of it? I have absolutely no interest in using notification center (and I don't use it on my iPhone either).

Which isn't hard considering I completely forgot that icon was even there until OP mentioned it lol.

You can use a Menu Bar manager (I use Bartender) to hide it.
