AirPod tether for keychain, Tile, etc

Got this idea from @bamf-hacker but wanted to share. Old lightning cable, some white electrical tape, and a small key ring. You can use a regular split ring but I had this one ready.

Cut the end of the lightning cable, fold it through the ring, and use the tape to secure it. The lightning end snaps into the cable and the other end works great with a Tile, on your keys, inside a bag, etc.

Clever in the fact that I copied the idea lol you can use it to connect to keys, inside a bag (I wouldn't clip it on the outside, it's not like the lightning connector locks but it is definitely secure enough for most uses). You can probably make the cord a bit shorter -- this one is about an inch. It would also be a bit shorter if I used just a ring on the end but I didn't have any smaller ones, and this allows me to clip/unclip a lot easier than the small split ring connectors.

Mine original design looks nicer! I used white heat shrink to make the tether clean looking.

That's stupid I shortened mine earlier just need to get a new pic. It actually still has too much tape but maybe on round 2 it'll be better. Need to dice up another worn out cable.
