Any recommendation for a charging dock that has a speaker than can pass-through music and alarms from iPhone apps?
It should use only the Lightning port (as we all know that the headphone jack is going to be absent in future devices ...)
Ideally, it should accommodate thin cases (do the male lightning port extenders work?). And as a double bonus, be able to accommodate the iPad (but this is not an essential feature .. I will always have an iPhone).
I have different wake up times on different days and would like to use the clock app (or maybe some other 3rd party clock app) on the iPhone but get the loud alarms. I can also have the phone in an orientation that makes it easier to see from the bed.
