Will you buy a case for iPhone 5C?

I am intended to buy 5C for my mum ,although it's a plastic and multi-colorful iPhone 5C:raised-eyebrow:
Will a case cover the original color of 5C?But with no case ,how could the plastic appearance protect itself from being scrached or something alike?
This prob really disappoints me...

That's why Apple introduced the colorful cases with holes to compliment the 5C. I'm sure more cases will be available as time goes on. In the meanwhile, you could always get a clear case so that you're protecting your phone and still showing off the color.
