3rd Party Iphone 5 adapters and cables

I am not sure the rules for posting links so at this time I chose not to, but if you go to Amazon, they have a 3rd party iphone 5 cable for $10 and a third party iphone 5 adapter for $10. This is a lot cheaper than the $19 and $30 being charged by Apple. Obviously there are no reviews yet so I cannot vouche for their quality or affectiveness.

I saw the same adapters today. I, too, was wondering about the quality. My Dad's company gave them all generic car chargers for their BlackBerries a few years ago. Whenever he plugged in his phone, the charger short circuited and blew out his phone. I'm always leery about generic accessories but would love a cheaper option.

The ones I saw are not yet available, but are on pre-order. I'll wait until I get the phone and the accessories are actually available.

I've had mixed luck with knock-off's. Will wait for reviews. I know I'm not paying $30+ for adapters though.
