iPhone 5 Shipping/Tracking

Got my shipment notice from VZW....currently in Memphis TN....due 9/21

Hearing that some banks may have flagged the charge as fraud. I decided to call my bank and make sure this did not happen to me. Like everyone else here I don't wont any delay's in receiving my new iPhone's.

I also setup an alert to let me know when the charge goes through. I know many have already seen Verizon charge their cards but mine has not. I'm assuming they are working the orders as they were received and since I did not place my order until 8:00AM this may be the reason I have not been charged yet.

Anyway just passing along this info, trying to help others.

Same here contemplating switching my day off on Thursday from work to Friday so I can be home when it gets here

Anybody know If you live in an apartment complex and nobody's home when FedEx drops the package off does it automatically go with the front office? Or do they take it back to the facility? Will leaving a note on your door with your number and name work to have them drop it off at the front office?

Received shipping notification this morning as well, phone is in Nashville. Being overnighted today but with a hold until Friday. VZW.

When you use your phone number in "track by reference", use ONLY the numbers. Do not insert any dashes or spaces or parens. For example, phone number 222-333-4444 should be entered as 2223334444.

In My Verizon main page it shows my iPhone 4 as my device but they updated my upgrade eligibility and my contract to 2014!! Guessing that means the upgrade purchase processed and all that is left to do is activate my new phone!!! CANT WAIT!!! ha ha

It seems FedEx will be holding them till the 21st. in the bottom right corner of the tracking info it says "future delivery requested".

I don't think anyone that ordered from apple.com has received any info except "Preparing for Shipment".

I ordered 64gb black on VZW site at 4:30 am EST on launch date. Got confirm within minutes. Checked status over weekend, showed ship date as 9/21. Checked status this morning and got "there is an error with your order. Please refer to the email sent for more information." BUT i never received an email. Delivery date now been bumped to 10/5. Called VZW and they don't know what the problem is but they said they'd get back to me. Any thoughts?

I would say don't worry about it. You should get an email with shipping info on it today.
