Hi, I just upgraded from a 3GS to a 4S. I used the 3GS without a case and had no problems. However, I've begun to consider getting a case for the 4S because I find the form factor of the phone to be significantly more uncomfortable and so I'm looking for a case that can provide (1) a better grip; and (2) scratch resistance.
I'm looking for something minimal that is made out of something somewhat grippy but still able to grab out of my pocket with ease. For example, I think the Incipio Feather is exactly what I had in mind, EXCEPT I'd like one that has the "lip" of cushion on the front surface of the phone so that it has at least some likelihood of not falling glass first if it falls from a small height or the phone is put down front-first. It seems the Feather doesn't have this.
Can anyone recommend a case with a similar form factor and grip to the Feather, but has some kind of protrusion to protect the front a little bit more? I will not be using a screen protector.
