iPhone Voice Control won't respond thru HEADPHONE

What an unfortunate morning I had. Sigh

While I was running on the treadmill, I accidentally knock off my iPhone and dropped and bounced twice. (iPhone is protected by incase cover)

So as I was checking on the defect, I realised that... my iPhone is not responding to my voice control thru the HEADPHONE. If I plugged in totally, I can still hear the music thru iPod app and can control the volume. But when I tried to speak thru it, be it a command nor on call thru it, the otherside wont be able to hear me. Only if I plugged in semi-ly, then they can hear me but I can't hear them entirely clear.

So I have few questions: why is it so? can it be repaired? what should I do? is the iPhone headshot resistant to sweat?

you dropped your phone. Stuff breaks

Call apple about your repair options

they usually just replace them though

But I don't think they have such option in Malaysia though. Sigh..
